“Our discovery of Wolf Cove Inn was by chance—what a great
stroke of luck that was! The Inn offers the best of comfort,
serenity, and the warmest greetings--especially by four-legged
McCauley! ”

Pet Policies for Your Visit To Wolf Cove
Our dogs are a special part of our family, so we understand that
your pet is a special part of your family, and while you are staying
with us, your pet is a special guest of the Inn. To make your pet
feel at home at the Inn, we are happy to supply pet blankets, water
bowls, trash bags, and treats.
Dogs are welcome with advance notice, not all guest rooms are pet
friendly. A one-time fee of $25.00 is charged to your room for your
pet’s stay.
All pets must be registered at check in. Please provide us with a
cell phone number in case of emergency.
Pets are not allowed in common areas of the Inn, including the
Grande Dining Room, and sitting room areas. Service dogs are
allowed.
For the safety and comfort of all guests, dogs are not allowed in
the lake and cannot be bathed in your guestroom bathroom.
Pets must be with their owners at all times, and not left unattended
in guest rooms. Pets must be taken with you whenever you leave the
property (unless pet-sitting services have been arranged for an
additional fee).
The Poland town leash law requires pets to be on leashes at all
times when outside. Pets must also be on a leash at all times when
outside your guest room.
Guests are responsible for picking up after their pet in and around
the Inn. There is a convenient trash can located just inside the
garage door.
Pet sitting services are available with advance notice. Day care can
be provided by Bees Pet Boarding—walking distance from the Inn.
Please make arrangements prior to your arrival at
Bees Pet Boarding
In the interest of other Inn guests, excessive barking, or
disturbing other guests is not tolerated.
Pets are not allowed on furniture, or bedding.
An additional pet cleaning fee may apply if necessary, even after
departure from the Inn. Pet owners/guests in the room will be held
monetarily responsible for any damages to the room or property from
the pet.
Please call the Inn directly if you have questions regarding
pet-friendly rooms and suites and their availability.
For after hour pet emergencies while you are here, we recommend
calling Animal Emergency Clinic of Mid-Maine at 207-777-1110.
